Best bet ask at your local breakers yard, or if you wish try online auction sites.

Honda Jazz Mk3 2015 - 2020 / New Head Unit/Infotainment

The cable you are showing is the same as the one supplied with the Joying.

Why would you want to use one port for the CarPlay, as it is wireless CarPlay so you don’t plug in your phone?

There are 3 USB ports on the Joying, you receive  one adapter as per your picture and 2 long plug to socket cables you can feed into the glovebox or some other convenient location.

I have found that the onboard USB sockets when connected to the adapter cables do not have the power to charge my iPhone 15 Pro.

I have not used the built in microphone as I already had one installed from my previous head unit as they all use the same connection. Very easy to install an external mic, the internal one isn’t much good.

Wasn't aware of that either.

Seems like they combine polarisation and photochromic properties, which sounds good. The downside (there's always one) is that they shouldn't be used at night because of the permanent tint.

Honda Jazz Mk3 2015 - 2020 / Spare wheel foam insert

Hi,

Does anyone have the foam insert for sale for the space saver wheel on a 2015-2018 Jazz? If not, I will go down the route of creating something myself (I have read the older threads on here about using ply). Just wanted to ask as wanted to keep it stock  :)

Thanks

Honda Jazz Mk2 2008-2015 / Re: Brake Pads Cost and Labour
« Last post by MiniNinjaRob on Today at 08:20:52 AM »
Just for comparison, we were in need of rear pads two weeks ago when the wifes mum had a Stroke and we had to get up to Lincolnshire quick. As the wife was driving home from work to collect me she hears a metallic grinding from the rear brakes, The only place open on a Saturday afternoon charged me £120 to replace the pads and I know that was dear as the chap knew we needed them done quick.

That’s actually ok, parts and an hours labour should come to that easily. The labour for that job would be the same as replacing the discs at the same time as all the work involved is in the pad change - changing the disc only needs two small screws taking out and the disc slides right off easily so doesn’t really add any time onto the whole operation.

Discs and pads for a jazz aren’t expensive BUT they aren’t cheap either.

You can get lenses that change according to light, rather than according to UV (which is blocked by the windscreen).  They were introduced with driving in mind.  Look around for someone who offers them.

didn't know that , thanks.

quick search and it seems they are called transition drivewear lenses.

The Option Connector has 2 red wires

One is "ACC" and the other is "Ign2".'"Ign2" is the one to use for dashcams

Honda Jazz Mk2 2008-2015 / Opinions on CVT noise
« Last post by PotentialBuyer on Today at 12:05:33 AM »
Hi all.

I'm looking for members' opinions on my groaning CVT transmission on a 2011 EXL. It drives perfectly fine - no jerkiness, and at 51+ mpg.

I've linked to two of my mp3 files to illustrate:

1. Going downhill at about 30mph where engine braking occurs https://jmp.sh/s/eTESDv0gRvIipJvtQYvn

2. Going uphill where I switch between D and S modes https://jmp.sh/s/yPHECtZL8tHAsu59WXhg

I think it might have sounded this way since I bought the car a few years ago, but I'm not 100% sure.

Although, I think I am perhaps just far more conscious of the sound these days since the mechanic passed comment on it after my last MOT.

He said it is quite common in Hondas with the CVT. I've since had the CVT fluid changed by Honda, and it has made no discernible difference.

Is he right? Is it meant to sound this way? Is it merely ageing and nothing to worry about? Can it be remedied?

I'd be interested in hearing about any similar experiences members have had.

Thanks.

Any idea whats the name of that adapter? I might pull the trigger for the joying radio at some point as it looks really good. And I want both of the USB ports to be working (even if only one of them will be the carplay enabled odb port) I presume this is the cable which I am after (check photo)

Additionally can you guys tell me how is the built in microphone perfoming? Is it good enough or should I wire out the external one included?

Honda Jazz Mk3 2015 - 2020 / Honda Jazz 2019 Stock Radio

Anyone had much luck with doing anything "extra" with the stock radio? Can you actually install any extra apps to it (like Waze).

Other to that - is the Honda App center still a thing? When I try to connect (I mobile hotspot my internet) I get this message (check photo attached)

Other to that what time zone should I use for this radio (I dont see GMT+1) just some random ones which I never heard of.

I presume "installing" carplay on this radio is not a thing?
