2014 Jazz Vti head unit
« on: January 15, 2018, 09:35:55 AM »
I have a 2014 Honda Jazz Vti. Apparently needs a replacement head unit. All the electronics work but no sound. Dealer tells me the amplifier has died in the head unit and needs a whole new unit. I can’t afford the $3k to replace it and just out of new car warranty. Does anyone know of an aftermarket product I can buy to fit. Thanks in advance.
FYI I’m not very technical minded

Have you thought about getting a second hand unit?

There are a lot of headunits available via the auction sites or Aliexpress if you don't mind fitting it yourself for a few hundred £ both for the old and new model Jazz.  You will probably need a new fascia, but could fit a touchscreen/DAB/navigation/TPMS/DVR/rear camera unit.  Any city car audio specialist would could also do this in a couple of hours.  Just be careful you get LHD or RHD as required.
