Clutch Pedal Sensor

Can anyone with a manual MK3 Jazz tell me whether they can start their car with the clutch pedal fully depressed AND with a gear selected?

Thanks for the info. I have had a long standing issue where the parking sensors fail to activate on start-up. My car has been back to the workshop many times to resolve with Honda directing the dealership to try various things. Honda are convinced that the issue is related to the clutch pedal sensor and this has now been replaced and latterly some adjustment made so that I cannot start the car unless it’s in neutral. I didn’t think this was the behaviour prior to my last workshop visit and I was just seeking confirmation.
