New to Honda - Jazz EX 2010
« on: May 10, 2012, 12:18:37 AM »
I am imminently going to be the owner of a Jazz
So I have signed in to this forum and hope I can pick up some pointers and hopefully impart
some helpfull ideas too.
Biggest issue with mine is the daft wheel and tyre size - limiting tyre choice and making a slightly firmer ride.
However - I am really looking forward to owning it next week  :)

THANKS for the welcome
Car seems very good so far - pretty economical
Biggest suprise was how smooth it pulls at low revs
considering max torque is much higher up the range.
Very pleased  8)

Hi, I also have the 2010 model; a clever car in all respects. The only thing I dont like are the front seats which I find give me back ache on a long journey. I would like to replace them so any information anyone has much appreciated.

Regards
John

That's a tricky one as backs are such a personal thing.
I have found mine is helping my back and an improvement over my previous,
pretty comfy seated, car.
There are inserts and things you could look at - new seats could be expensive
and you might end up with it just the same - or worse!
A good idea would be to consult a Physiotherapist or similar for suggestions...
as ever a good old surf of the internet might help.

I personally sit fairly upright in my seat,  as I found that leaning the seat back can cause back strain - Taxi driver use all sorts of seat covers and back (lumbar) supports in their cabs, sheepskin seat covers used to be a favourite.
Some people will only consider you an expert if they agree with your point of view or advice,  when you give them advice they don't like they consider you an idiot
