In July this year I became the owner of a used Mk2 Jazz. It was a step up from my previous Jazz, a Mk1, and, as expected, a really pleasant car to drive. I was particularly attracted by the presence of the HFT system but, so far, it has proved less than perfect. At first it performed really erratically, sometimes responding to a command, sometimes not. The supplying dealer was very helpful, diagnosed a faulty microphone, replaced same and all was then good.
Unfortunately, something has now happened twice which is really frustrating. I laboriously entered my 5 important telephone numbers in the phone book but, a few weeks later, when trying to make a call I got the message "the phonebook is empty". Oh dear! Maybe just a one-off I thought so let's enter the numbers again. That done I enjoyed a couiple of weeks of normal use only for the phonebook to be empty again.
Anyone have any suggestions as to cause and remedy? Thanks
