Would I be correct in thinking that the S would not have the sensor gizmos behind the mirror.
I do find the "black blob" behind the mirror intrusive. Probably because of my height it is more noticeable

I tried e-mailing Honda but they think I'm talking about the parking sensors.
All one dealer suggested was that its likely the courtesy cars will be just the S models so watch out for them

I have received a detailed reply from Honda and even the S model has the sensors behind the mirror.
Looks like I wont be getting a new Jazz.
Does any other car have "magic seats"?

The Civic does I think if you've got deep enough pockets!

It might be worthwhile waiting for feedback from some owners of the new model. I think the only time the sensor enclosure may be intrusive is when the car is first in the queue at traffic lights. I didn't notice it when sat in the driver's seat but saw it when I was a passenger.

None of the reviews I've read mentioned the sensor enclosure but, unless I'm mistaken, it is visible on the photo at http://www.telegraph.co.uk/cars/honda/jazz/.

My Hybrid has a sensor on the screen, never seen it as intrusive when driving. I also have a camera, neither block my view in the driving position. Mind you, I am not that tall.

I have found out that the interior mirror is very adjustable, more so than on a MK2. and can be set much higher. This makes the sensor pod less noticeable.
I had a test drive of a CVT SE and I cant understand where all the extra space has come from. I'm a big tall lump and have to shoe horn myself into my MK2 but with the new one its easy
