Think I have found my irritating noise, nothing to do with under tray, found if passenger pushed on front passenger window, the noise went!
Sprayed the window runners with silicone spray, which had a dramatic effect, now going to repeat with white grease spray
Will be so happy works

At this point buy some cheapo usb charger and try again. I bought mine for 4€ at supermarket and it works till now.

Or you can remove the center console and hardwire it under the console  :D its sketchy but i have it like that for small bluetooth receiver plugged into aux

Can you show me a pic of the one you have please?

I have had it happen  a few times on exceptionally damp or cold mornings. Fortunately I dont often need to drive off immediately straight onto a motorway. But it can sometimes take a total of 15 minutes of initial  demisting/defrosting  on the driveway and then some driving  before affected systems come on line.  This must  be frustrating if it represents most  of a daily commute.     Maybe its a good thing  that during a period when the car is cold and visibility may not yet be 100%  that the driver  is more proactive.

I dont know of a cure. Some sort of fan or piezo electrical heating elements inside the camera  module might help.  Or small silica gel  pouch hung from the mirror.   I have vague memories that Honda actually modified the camera  pod ventilation  slightly to reduce the chances of the camera overheating in summer.   But maybe this was just a suggestion  someone made in a post  or relating to dashcams

Going a bit off topic , sometimes my RDMS (Road departure  mitigation ) switches  itself off for a few minutes  if  its picking up confusing   signals ,such as from long grass at the edge of the road.    Its ironic that   systems that some of us dislike so much and actively disable or never use  can be missed by others when unavailable for a few minutes.     ;D

Have you checked the condition of the air filter to see if it needs replacing? Might also be worth adding a bottle of redex or similar to your fuel tank.

Hi all, I bought a mk 4 Jazz about a month ago, I like it very much, but , I can’t use the front camera in very cold weather, as the camera fogs up, and it takes a while for it to clear, has anyone else seen this problem, and , has anyone found an answer? Cheers. 😎🏍👍😁
Same issue of the mk3, and same solution: keep the aircon in AUTO or forced in ON mode, this will remove humidity from the cabin and keep the windscreen clear.

The 'FRONT' setting has always cleared my screen very quickly. 5 minutes sat on the front is enough to give the system time to warm up and clear any fogginess on the inside.
I must add, that I do use an Autoglym glass cleaner regularly (once a month) on the interior glass too, so maybe this helps.

Whilst i would agree with you regarding fogginess on the inside, the front facing camera depends on a clear view out of the outside at the top of the screen, which is the place it takes longest to defrost

Which is why on my previous post on this thread, that I said I put a warmed cloth over the camera/sensor area on the outside while I waited for the demisting to take effect on the inside.
