:o hello
I'm starting a k swap on a 2003 honda jazz and some input would be nice to see if iv forgotten anything important
1st wiring
Iv done some research about this and all it throws up is problems (cam buss)that cost money to fix :'(.
So my idea is to buy a civic type s and swap the whole loom ecu and engine . I think itl be easier to mod the clocks and dash lights to work then mess with hacking looms
2nd engine
A type s civic 2002 engine should make a nice swap . Using a cable throttle like my jazz and modified shift cables. I know it's only 160bhp but still that's nearly twice the power of the 1.4 (1.3 actually it's a honda thing)
What are your ideas
(I'm a fabrication welder and good with electronics)
Let's make this happen

These guys are right into mods and the like.

Thanks for the link il have a look.
Does any body know if il have to modify the sub frame
Some people do and some don't. Or is it just a case of fit the engine and see what hits.

As Jocko says, there's not many into modding on here, but I think it would be great to see how you get on with this.

I suspect that's what most modding lads end up doing!

The Jazz engine bay is tiny, isn't a K swop going to be mighty tight?
