I had an intermittent grinding/rough clutch a few weeks ago. It's like an old rusty disc brakes grinding noise. At the same time the clutch peddle squeaks.
The car only done about 10k miles.
So I don't think it is a worn clutch. Having driven other cars over 100k miles without the need to replace a clutch components. So it's not my driving issue.
I have sprayed some lubricant to the clutch peddle mechanism and the squeaks had stopped. Coincidentally the grinding noise had also stopped. Honda dealer can't find anything wrong with it during the service.
I am sceptical that spraying the lubricant has stopped the grinding noise. Well time will tell if it comes back. If it doesn't then this is the fix!!!
