Photobucket

Photobucket have recently - out of the blue - decided to block images from being displayed on other sites (such as this) unless the account holder pays a subscription fee.

If you have uploaded images to Photobucket you may need to consider moving these to another photo hosting site. A list alternatives can be found here:

https://clubjazz.org/forum/index.php?topic=884.0

If you come across any topics with blocked images please drop the original poster a PM to let them know.

I have moved to another hosting site. https://postimages.org/  Whch is working very well, for me.

P Bucket have ruined, eleven year's work, and 2,389 pics.... Covering 76+ projects, spread over at least, 6 forums......

I haven't the heart, or the time to replace them.......

I feel others may go the same way as image hosting is an uneconomic enterprise.  Tinypic could be next since it's TinyPic®, a Photobucket Video & Photo Sharing Company

To solve this I just created this↓ and linked a couple of pictures from my drive, although it would be just as easy to use image from the the auto camera backup as well.

Hotlinking the url for a single image hopefully will still work does not work.

I am the same. I deleted all my images from Photobucket and closed my account. I now use Imgur, when I need to, but have started to add images as attachments on sites that permit it.

Many other car club forums impacted bt PB desicion.
Its a sign of the times with PB they had *** adverts then wanted ££ to host so all in all I ditched them.
Its your choice of a replacement lots to choose from

I did the same - deleted everything and closed my account. It's made a right mess of some forums.

And..... Everyone's pics are now visible. Here, and on all other forums!!!!  Ohhh....... HAPPY DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is also, an add on for Chrome..... https://chrome.google.com/webstore/search/photobucket_hotlink_fix?hl=en

You won't find mine there. If I cannot use them, Photobucket can't either. I deleted the lot!

During the initial upset. Several people said, they had closed their account.

I decided, that was a bit, final, for me.... I left the pics there. Uselessly, taking up their storage space.

Obviously, I will never upload to Pbucket, again......

The thing is, people can go on to Photobucket and make use of your images. And Photobucket was never storage for my images, just those I needed to link to.

My Pbucket was always kept private. No one could access. They could only see, my posted pics, on my forums.....

Frankly. I can't see what use they could be, to anyone else......
