I mean that at least in my Jazz the DRL  or headlights are on always when the ignition is on. And then also dashboard lights are on. It is possible to get lights off only when the handbrake is pulled and car is not moving. In any other situation the momentary off position of the light switch has no effect. And I find it rather annoying.
