Does the Jazz parking system detect kerbs? Reluctant to experiment.

Depends on how high the kerb is and if it is alongside the car or directly behind or in front of it,  but the only way you will find out is to experiment.  It used to be dodgy reversing into a kerb with mudflaps were fitted because it could rip them off,  but without mudflaps and normal kerb heights it should be fine.
Some people will only consider you an expert if they agree with your point of view or advice,  when you give them advice they don't like they consider you an idiot

Sadly, it doesn't detect kerb corners if you go round them too close.  I stupidly managed to damage the plastic nearside sill, but it's not visible normally, and won't rust, so I'm leaving it.  If I have it repaired, I'm sure to do it again!
