I've had Honda Jazz cars since 2010, the current car is No6 and my second Mk4, a 2023 Advance.
No problems of any sort with any of them
Totally different cars though, with totally different drive trains. The latter only a year old, so I hope you can say it still performs as well as the Mks that went before it as the years roll by.

« Last post by chas56 on Today at 12:57:19 PM »You could have a coil/sparkplug breaking down, they can cause electrical interference which can be picked up by the Crankshaft position sensor.We (perhaps unwisely) reset the scanner, so there's presently no "check engine" light displayed.
Question: if I replace the spark plugs, can I keep driving as normal and keep my eye out for the return of the check engine light?
I'm not sure about the potential severity of the problem that's triggering the P0339 code.

and i am, hoping that i could bring back my GE to its prime fuel efficiency.
is this still possible?
and if yes, what are the things that i need to do?
what are the parts that need to be cleaned and replaced?

Meaning, we spend so much time worried about how bad things are going to be, that we actually torture ourselves more than the thing we’re worried about ever could (that is, if it happens at all).
I just enjoy driving the Jazz. If something goes wrong, it's early enough to worry, right?
Wise words. Can't help myself though - one of life's worriers.

It drives really well and is nippy enough
What probably impressed me the most was on the motorway doing 60-70 where I found that it got up to speed with no fuss and I thought it was pretty quiet sitting at 70
The ride is obviously not as smooth as my Prius but it’s perfectly smooth enough

« Last post by chas56 on Today at 11:47:22 AM »Thanks, Steve, for replying. I have an oil and tire change record from the previous owner, but no mention of spark plug replacement. Do you recommend this as a starting place? If this is the fix, it would be a lot better than buying a new sensor. Here in Morocco, labor is pretty inexpensive, but factory parts for imported cars are really, really expensive.
