I'm 82 and have just taken delivery fo my 4th Jazz EX all in Milano Red.
I guess this will probably be my last!

Now turned 84 and couldn’t resist the new Mk4 Jazz, so have recently brought a new EX e-HEV in Red again, all 5 of the cars have been Red.
I have to say, this is the best Jazz yet, very impressed with the EV performance and fuel consumption is much improved, compared to the the previous cars. Average over 3000miles is 68.9mpg.
Will this one be my last?

This survey has probably done very little to dispel any myths about Jazz ownership.

I was 23 when I bought my first Jazz back in 2004. :o

Poll edited so people can change their vote as they - ahem - move into another age bracket.  ;D

Average age should come down now as Mk1s and most Mk2s are now in the first car price bracket, at least for those that don't sign up for a Polo or Fiat 500 on a PCP.

On a serious note though, recent Jazz products, EX, Crosstar are definitely appealing to a younger audience.

Just purchased a mk2 1.4 EX Jazz with 45k in a lovely blue. I am 76 but had a mk 1 auto 1.4 bought new on a 55 plate.
This mk2 is quite lively after the mk1 auto. Looking forward to learning lots from you guys and gals.
The mk2 has 195/16/55 alloys with some obscure Chinese tyres, so any suggestions as to the best tyres to fit will be very gratefully received.

I'm 67 and thinking back to my earlier cars like the VW Beetle and Austin Metro. I had spanners next to the driver's seat and was always adjusting the distributor and tappets and what have you to achieve smooth running and reduce pinking.

Now I just drive and let the little Jazz do whatever it likes, serenely going along taking no notice  :)
It will be alright in the end, if it's not alright then it's not the end !

The standard tyre size for the Mk2 EX is 185/55R16. It looks like one of the previous owners has changed the wheels to a non-standard size.

The car was owned by a person who worked for Honda in Swindon and he kept it for 2 years, then sold to a disabled lady in 2014 who kept it till now.

Some people have funny ideas about wider tyres being better, or maybe they were offered some cheap 195 tyres

I doubt very much if someone has changed the rims, the rim will probably be standard size 16" x 6 J - the rim is OK for a 195mm wide tyre, but you can also fit a 185mm tyre onto that rim, so could go back to standard 185/55R16 tyres.   Personally I prefer 15" wheels with 175/65R15 tyres, improves the ride, the steering, the road noise, it also protects the rim better from pothole damage and  also vastly improves the choice of tyres available, at 50 to 60% of the price of the oddball 185/55R16 tyres ( although they have become slightly less oddball ).

Some people will only consider you an expert if they agree with your point of view or advice,  when you give them advice they don't like they consider you an idiot

54, and the cheapest car insurance that I got on price comparison websites was with Saga! That never happened before I drove a Honda Jazz.

I'm depressed, but better off :)

I am 77 and just got my Fourth Jazz in Premium Crystal Red it’s an EX  and the best yet. It’s quiet, quick, economical and comfortable Well done Honda plus there’s an upgraded Jazz on the way in the Spring.
Better not try it just yet but it’s something to think about isn’t it!
