Title: Hello from Cornwall!
Post by: Velorum on April 09, 2023, 01:48:47 PM
Greetings.

New here but not to Jazz's. Ive owned two Mk1's - sold the last one in 2015 as I needed something bigger. Always missed them.

Now that I dont need something big I have bought a Mk2 - 2014 1.4 i-VTEC ES Plus CVT.
One owner from new and only 29K on the clock. Bought from the Honda main dealer in Plymouth.

Its great to have one of these again!

Its virtually unmarked and looks & feels like a 2 year old car.

Its taken me a while to find one in this condition - I particularly wanted a Mk2 as I prefer the design of this variant.

I have fitted waterproof quilted seat covers. Ive used these for years in various cars and really like them.

The magic seats have always been the thing that I find most useful with these cars. With them in up I have fitted a waterproof padded load liner so that I can transport my folded wheelchair and springer spaniel without messing the interior up too much.

Another accessory that I have found really useful is a fabric dash mat. This eliminates reflections from the dash onto the windscreen. In some cars you need to attached them with tape/velcro - but this is not needed wit the Jazz (well the MK2 anyway) as it simply rests there.

Ive also fitted a molded plastic tray to the boot and fitted rubber mats front and rear.

That its for accessorizing - I dont need anything else.

I do want to have some rustproofing done soon though - fortunately there is a specialist garage about a mile from where I live.

Greetings Velorum

Hope you’re still enjoying your Mk2.

Just come across your post and interested to know the make / suppliers of your waterproof padded load liner & fabric dash mat.

They both look very useful.

Thanks

PK
