I completed this mod the weekend. Not as tidy as yours Chris, but it does the job. No photos unfortunately, as I was keen to just get it all back together again. Only ended up with one spare clip this time! ha.

I bought the mesh from Wickes https://www.wickes.co.uk/Wickes-6mm-Galvanised-Mesh-Panel---600-x-900mm/p/187720 for £7.50 as the ebay prices have shot through the roof.

Sprayed it black with Halfords Black wheeltrim spraypaint and cabletied it together. Hopefully will protect the condenser a little more, it wasn't looking the tidiest with the bumper off.

Anyone done this to GK Jazz? What would be the easiest way to get mesh behind the lower grille?

I'm seriously considering doing this to my 2011 Jazz. Really don't want to have to take the bumper off though so keen for any tips from those that added a mesh without removing bumper.

I did it on my 2012 by using soft wire, bent in a U shaped  loop and inserting through mesh and round one of the verticals .Pulled  it round the other side and twisted ends together. Fiddly but doable.
Wire: green plastic coated gardening wire.

Thanks for the photos. So did you do this from the front? Access is much easier from the front but it seems you can't do it with one large piece of mesh. I've seen the product others have used from Wickes. What product did you use and did you have to paint it black?
