Deactivating automatic parking brake feature
« on: March 09, 2024, 12:22:53 PM »
I previously turned on the automatic parking brake feature that's mentioned on P 498 of the manual, but I'm having trouble switching it off again.

When holding the parking brake switch up, I get 6 beeps instead of the single or double ones. It might be my imagination, but the light on the parking brake switch also appears brighter than normal.

I'm clearly not doing the process correctly despite is seeming quite straightforward, and wondered if anyone had any tips or had experienced this before?

Ok, after dozens of goes, I've finally got the feature to switch off. Didn't do anything different each time, but for some reason the final time it just worked.  ::)

Not that I used it, this CR-V video is helpful if you haven't come across the feature before:
