Paintwork blemishes
« on: August 11, 2023, 04:43:41 PM »
I have the EX Style, in Blue beam metallic which also has the contrasting black roof and over window sills in black too. I always use Autoglym car shampoo (washed every couple of months), and wax every 4 with Autoglym Super resin polish (just having it's 3rd wax prior to 12.5k service).
I have noticed in the black paintwork of the over the side windows trim some tiny blemishes. They are very small, about .5 of a mm and there is a few on either side. They look like faults in the lacquer top coat. They are not rough, just a blemish. I have tried a light scratch removing wax, re-polish...yet they remain.
I have also noted very small blemishes in the bonnet paintwork too, although these appear different to the black paint ones.
My question is, what is the reputation of Honda paintwork?
I have only had Renaults before the Jazz, and their paintworks were faultless.

I have added a picture of the black blemishes, and to be honest the picture does make them look worse than they really are. I will be mentioning them to the dealer when it goes in for its service at the end of the month.
