My HR-V hybrid has the paddles and I quickly discovered that I was happiest with the maximum regeneration setting which provides a similar level of deceleration as I had on the Crosstar. I tried the lower settings but ended up needing to use the brakes more.

How much "paddling" is required to reach that maximum regeneration setting which provides a similar level of deceleration as you had on the Crosstar in "B"?

I recall that I found the highest of 4 pulls on the paddles was needed to get the equivalent of the Crosstar in B so I just drive the HR-V in B and forget the paddles exist.

Well... if one has owned a Crosstar, one seems to get lazy    :P

I manage to be lazy with just an EX   . My wife can quote many other examples of my efficiency in  limiting the occasions when I actually move. :P

Just been in to my local Listers Honda (uk) dealer to book a routine service on my 21 plate EX. and also the safety camera recall. Seems they want about 4 hours to do the recall software work!

Whilst there, I enquired about delivery of the new Jazz facelift model and was told that they were expecting delivery sometime in May. Has anyone else been told different?

I've not changed gear since about 1977, except for the odd manual pool car when I worked.

My granddad used to drive like that. He was deaf to the screaming of the engine.

What I looking for are the details differences between the outgoing EX and the new Advance model which I gather is the equivalent model.
Also need detail differences between the Advance and the Advance Crosstar.
The latest Honda Adverts don’t seem tell me, unless I’ve missed something.
Just need to decide whether it’s worth changing, or not.

Once the brochure appears online, which maybe the next few days ?
Let's be careful out there !
