One dealers web site implies that the HRV will be introduced in September, I wonder which year 2015 or 2016, but there is no mention of when the Jazz will be in showrooms.

http://www.swanswayhondastockport.co.uk/news/goodwood-first-time-uk-sees-full-2015-honda-line-up

There was a time when cars introduced in August / September were designated as the next year's model.

Summer ends on 21st September so will the Jazz still be introduced in Summer 2015 in the UK?  I wouldn't be surprised to see the Jazz Mk3 launch in Europe delayed until 2016 at this rate, will Honda still then designate the cars as the new 2015 Jazz?

The Jazz is being launched in India on 8th July 2015,

"On display will be the new Civic and CR-V, which arrived in dealerships in March; the long-awaited Civic Type R will be available in dealerships in July; whilst the new Jazz and much-anticipated HR-V are expected to go on sale in August. "
Maybe August then ?

Although sadly I've had to 'bale out' from the Jazz because I needed to change the car, a friend (who I'd talked into also buying Jazz) has also just been told by his local dealer Gordons Bolton that new Jazz will be September...he didn't say which year ;D

At present Honda are deluging me with various offers on the old Jazz (the dealer I bought it from and the dealer where I have it serviced). There is a 0% APR on the 1.4 ES plus manual. One dealer is also throwing in metallic paint. 36 months at £99 per month with a £5000 balloon payment at the end. Deposit £4500.

It (the new Jazz) is obviously imminent.

Which seem to think better offers may come in July. Depends how much old stock they have I guess.

Have been informed by my Honda dealer that they are getting the Jazz last week in August for sale in September.

Interesting info trebor. I wonder if more offers will follow on the old model. Debating whether to go for one. It'll be interesting to see mpg and performance figures for the new car. Hopefully they can get the emissions down so you pay £30 road tax as opposed to £110.

I have asked Honda on their Facebook page when the HRV and Jazz will be released.

Their reply "Hi Colin, we don't have any exact dates but the new Jazz is due out in August with the HR-V to follow in September."

The Civic R is now coming off the South Marston production line http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-wiltshire-33361188 so, presumably, they have stopped making the Jazz which, I suspect was kept going as a way to keep the labour force occupied. An August announcement of the new Jazz fits with having a gap to clear the stock of the old model.

Spotted this on Honest John:

Quote
Hot on the heels of the Civic Type-R heels, the new Honda HR-V and new third generation Honda Jazz will arrive in the UK over the next three months.

We will be testing the new Honda HR-V next week (test up on site on 7th July) and the new Honda Jazz in three week's time (test up on site on 24th July).

So I'd expect the announcement around the 24th July.

My local dealer phone me earlier in the week out of the blue and said the new Jazz will be here in six weeks' time.

Posted this in the dealer thread earlier, but was sent this by our local dealer - http://campaigns.rhinodigital.co.uk/t/ViewEmail/r/348EBA300D3E65C32540EF23F30FEDED/CBAD6D9EAD7C640AAF060D6555554232 - and was most astonished to be told on calling to confirm we'd be going that they won't be showing either of the cars featured!

When I collected my car from it service today, a Sales Exec tells me that the new Jazzs are already being built and ready for delivery to the showrooms, but they can't have any yet. The new shape Jazzs will be in the showroom in late August, ready for the new registration in September, so they say.

This is now out of date post the budget. There will be no saving of road tax to be had.
