Honda Jazz Mk1 2002-2008 / Re: P0339 code but absolutely no other symptoms
« Last post by chas56 on May 10, 2024, 12:57:19 PM »You could have a coil/sparkplug breaking down, they can cause electrical interference which can be picked up by the Crankshaft position sensor.I (perhaps unwisely) reset the onboard computer with the scanner, so there's presently no "check engine" light displayed.
Question: if I replace the spark plugs, can I keep driving as normal and keep my eye out for the return of the check engine light?
I'm not sure about the potential severity of the problem that's triggering the P0339 code.
Thanks very much for your help!

My jazz ge 2010 is currently running on a 10.4 km per liter
and i am, hoping that i could bring back my GE to its prime fuel efficiency.
is this still possible?
and if yes, what are the things that i need to do?
what are the parts that need to be cleaned and replaced?
thank you so much fellow jazziess

Honda Jazz Mk4 2020 - / Re: Mk4 2021 Jazz Brake failure
« Last post by peteo48 on May 10, 2024, 12:33:38 PM »...you have that nagging doubt when you go out to the car that it might happen.
Wasn't it Seneca who said: "We suffer more in imagination than in reality.”?
Meaning, we spend so much time worried about how bad things are going to be, that we actually torture ourselves more than the thing we’re worried about ever could (that is, if it happens at all).
I just enjoy driving the Jazz. If something goes wrong, it's early enough to worry, right?
Wise words. Can't help myself though - one of life's worriers.

« Last post by ninanina on May 10, 2024, 12:27:40 PM »Well I had my test drive today and I’m very impressed with the Jazz
It drives really well and is nippy enough
What probably impressed me the most was on the motorway doing 60-70 where I found that it got up to speed with no fuss and I thought it was pretty quiet sitting at 70
The ride is obviously not as smooth as my Prius but it’s perfectly smooth enough

Do you recommend this as a starting place? If this is the fix, it would be a lot better than buying a new sensor. Here in Morocco, labor is pretty inexpensive, but factory parts for imported cars are really, really expensive.
