Seems so cleverly fixed I could break or split it
Any help would be appreciated

Perimeter clips are just a case of gentle levering on every car, once 1 is loose the others will be easier.  The top is probably hooked on.  I pulled a tailgate card from an older Jazz last week, but used the 'ripping off a plaster' method - no clips broken but it was in a scrapyard.  Don't be too timid, they are quite tough although replacement clips are available on eBay if needed.

Buy yourself a set of trim removers from good old Ebay about £5. They are plastic and are so useful when removing any bits of trim on the Jazz. As TG says lever all around the edge and they will release I will make the comment however, be a little careful because body work was done to our car prior to purchase and they managed to break out the mouldings into which the clips fit.
But as TG says don't be shrinking violet.
