I see - so the spark plugs sit at the back inside of those square shaped plastic casings? I can feel 4 of them so this adds up.

The fuel injectors are at the front of the engine underneath the manifold looking piping?

I'm not mechanically savvy but I know a bit (dangerous I know!)

I don't intend to carry out any work myself just trying to clue myself for when it goes back to honda to have the air con fixed because when they last checked for fuel leaks they couldn't find anything so I'm trying to figure out other problems that could cause this to chuck at them.

For info when I turn ignition on with engine off there is no smell at all - left it in for about 4/5 minutes and nothing. Turned engine on and smell appeared.
