Its a 1.4 vtec ex  2012.
Halfords called Europarts twice with my car details.
A lion battery first, then an Exide.
Both had the lugs on.

I have just looked at the Eurocarparts website and put in my Reg number, and it lists an 054 but the picture is of an 054H with the lugs. The one I fitted to my vehicle is a Varta A14 which has NO lugs. If I were you, I would go back and insist that they supply the correct part, preferably from a proper Motor Factor who knows what they are doing. The 054H with lugs was usually fitted to the Suzuki Swift, if I remember correctly from my many years in the motor spares business.

Halfords website shows for your car:

http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/VehicleProductGuidedSalesCmd?action=getProducts&storeId=10001&catalogId=10151&categoryId=165762&langId=-1&findPartsMMYS=Find&engineInd=&makeName=24&modelName=24001&dvlaYear=64&subsetEngine=24001160&subsetBodyShape=24001030

I had the Halfords retail shop install one of these perfectly. No lugs.

Halfords Autocentre have supplied the wrong battery.

Insist on the right one.

Tell them to go to their own website and put the registration number in and they will have the right answer!

Eurocarparts list these for your car with no lugs:

Lion Battery (054 Car Battery)

Exide Battery (Excell Battery 156)

Halfords retail shop seem to be much cheaper for a better battery.

(Car battery numbers are at best confusing. They seem to vary by manufacturer.)

I would just go to Honda direct, you will be surprised they are not that expensive for battery replacement. also try cox motor spares http://www.coxmotorparts.co.uk/genuine-honda-jazz-battery20092015-p-1125.html

Why are the radios even coded? It's not like they can be stolen.

This. I was surprised to learn the Mk2/GE's had coded radios, the Mk1/GD's don't.
