There appears to be a difference in the recommended CVT gearbox fluid change interval.
My 2011 model handbook says every 75K miles or six years.
My Honda dealer says Honda are now saying change at 25K miles or two years which I believe was the change interval for the earlier CVT's which I have I had and was when I had the fluid changed and will continue to do so.

Hi, the handbook, issue date 10/11, that came with our 2012 EX CVT states on page 42, transmission fluid change at 120,000 km//
75,000 miles or 8 years, however on my  January 2012 registered Jazz which may have been built a bit earlier, the recommended CVT fluid changes are 25K or 2 years. this is shown in the updated Service Book.

My mistake, it does say 75k or 8 years not 6 but there appears to be a discrepancy. I will stick with the 25k or 2 yearly interval.

I recall that we discussed the CVT oil change frequency a few months ago. I get the impression that Honda reduced the interval after realising that the CVT problems on the Mk I Jazz were largely caused by the long CVT oil change interval. The service sheet for the Mk 2 used by the Honda dealers shows the 2 year / 25k interval.
