I've looked at some threads on this but don't totally understand it.

So for a 2002 Jazz SE Sport with standard CD/radio with a CD/aux button...

It seems there is a spare socket on the back of the radio that'll take a lead which is terminated in a 3.5mm jack to plug in a standard headphone socket on a phone... is that right? A lead that looks suitable was on Ebay for about £16 but I can't see it now... anyone used one?

Of course there is no power to charge the phone from this lead so I wonder is there power at the socket on the back of the radio and could a usb lead be added to charge the phone.

Looks also like there are little boxes from £30 upwards that say they do 3.5mm aux and USB for audio and charging... any good?
