Title: McClaren 2017 F1 launch - MCL32

OK so colour scheme looks like a cross between the 2001 Arrows & 2007 Spyker, but have they got the tech right?
Will BP/Castrol work out better than ExxonMobil now they've gone to Red Bull?
And have Honda gone for the split turbo & turbulent jet pre-mix ignition system on the RA617H ?
Will they miss the old management and will Stoffel Vandoorne do a Max Verstappen?

Plus does anyone care about F1 these days?

I don't think many people do,  motorcycle racing is a lot more exciting  WSB, MotoGP,  BSB love them all - also TT races in Isle of Man coming up later in the year - those riders make F1 drivers seem like risk-averse Health and safety disciples.

If you want to see Honda cars winning races watch BTCC racing,  Shedden is awsome,  and again BTCC is 100 times more exciting than F1 these days.

Totally agree with Culzean, bikes and BTCC way more exciting than F1.
Shedden's last race of the 2015 season was absolutely brilliant, front discs glowing throughout the race with a stunning drive through the field to secure the title.

F1 pre season testing is in its second week and so far in five days of testing McClaren/Honda have changed at least six engines, five last week and one today.
This a very poor show on behalf of the team and presumably if you have an engine change it is down to Honda the engine manufacturer.
Of the rest of the teams Mercedes are looking very strong again with Bottas going well but Mercedes are being pressed hard by Ferrari and Red Bull. Today Williams looked promising.
The experts are saying that the racing spectacle will not be improved this year as the improved aerodynamics and increased down force will mean faster cornering speeds but shorter braking distances, which bodes ill for overtaking opportunities.
I guess that if this is true more spectators /followers will vote with their feet.

Vic.

Plus every race is likely to have a single pit stop with the more durable tyre.

BTCC on ITV4 for me.  Or turning up at http://www.750mc.co.uk/formulae.htm (http://www.750mc.co.uk/formulae.htm) meetings and walking the paddock without being a millionaire.

I wish they would outlaw downforce and put more focus on the drivers skills to win races.  Downforce simply means that you can pile into a corner at excessive speed and rely on the tech to get you round.  Anyone know what Mercedes said to Hamilton after he said F1 was a boring procession and he liked motorbike racing better ?
