Hi All,
I just bought a 2023 RS in NZ and want to add the original wireless charging to my car (below link). Any idea the instruction may available online???

Thanks.
Cheers,
TT

Unless you have the MY24 Jazz then wireless charging isn't 'original'
I looked at your link and that didn't help as it's all in hieroglyphics to me !

Interesting but rather pricey at a cost of over USD200.

Yea, that what I got in NZ. The dealer include the wireless charging for Lux Sport ver, but not the RS. So I want to install it myself.
The website is in Japanese. Thanks.

When I recently changed from a Samsung S10 to S23 I changed to a wireless holder, this allows me to mount the phone in its case. :
This follows on from my bespoke phone holder posts.

Every wireless charge pad that I have experienced in a car has made my phone overheat to the point of barely being able to hold it when you remove it. It really is far better and more efficient to plug it in.
-
No problem with mine.
Even after an hour's drive where the phone has been on charge the whole time it's still just warm.
And, my phone is connected to Android Auto Google Maps, my Garmin DS61 Satnav for traffic and is running Speedtrap Alert for speed cameras so it's doing some work.
The only time I experienced a very hot phone was a HTC One M7 I had when I tried using it as a SatNav displaying Google Maps on the phone screen.

What make/model of phone are you using?

I found a video on site for wireless pad installation, seem not difficult.

I've wondered if the tray behind the gearstick is a good place to locate a mobile ?
It's mostly hidden from 'the sky' which almost all GPS manufacturers advise against. That's why I designed my own mount.
I've seen posts on a few forums where laying a phone in a partially shielded tray has caused GPS incorrect location and/or lag.
