Rear registration plate bulb replacement
« on: September 27, 2021, 10:12:57 AM »
I believe this is a 'push to the right and pull' bayonet style fitting. Is there anything to watch out for? I don't want to break any aging brittle plastic etc if I can avoid it. Thanks all.

Nothing to be afraid of. Maybe consider changing both fittings for the ones with integrated LED's as I did, cost about £6 for both IIRC. You want ever need to change bulbs again

Well that turned out to be straightforward enough. Stiff as hell but a squirt of WD40 gave some wiggle room. Never underestimate the importance of a bit of wiggle room Thanks all.
