Due to a rushed reverse exit from my garage I pulled the electric wing mirror forward and the plastic between the mirror housing and the stem was damaged. Is it possible to just buy the stem part as the housing is functioning okay although attached at the moment by duct tape?

Personally, I would be trying if epoxy resin would fix the break. My method would be to drill some small holes each side of the break and then thread some bits of paperclip through pairs of holes before smothering it all with the 24 hour epoxy resin (much stronger, in my experience, than the 5 minute variety).

I couldn't find a diagram of the LH mirror assembly. Here is a diagram of the RH mirror on 2009 model:

Seems to suggest the stem plate which is attached to the door is not available separately.

Thx Bill, I guessed that the stems wouldn't be seperate. Think I'll have to look for full housing on Ebay/Amazon. Not going to pay honda's outrageous prices.

You can Buy an used one and swap just the parts you need.

I did this video for the powerfolding mirrors, but can be usefull for repairs.

The only problem that you can face is to remove the pins from the white connector. The other stuff is fine.
