Problems with ODBII and Jazz 2nd Gen
« on: March 23, 2023, 01:54:50 PM »
I have tried to connect with the ODB via bluetooth and have tried 2 types.
Both units couldn't connect.
Does anyone have a working ODB solution and what is the make?, thanks.

Have you tried with just ignition on or when the engine is running? I have had instances when I could only get my reader to connect when an engine is running, other cars will connect just with ignition.

Hi I've just purchased a used 2011 Jazz and wanted to check few things with OBD2 scanner. The one I bought was https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07883V8KC?ref_=pe_27063361_487360311_302_E_DDE_dt_1

I'm using it with the Torque Pro android app and can confirm it works. However this particular unit states it works both as Bluetooth and WiFi. My phone couldn't see it as a Bluetooth device. I had to connect to it as WiFi and then change in the torque Pro settings from Bluetooth to WiFi to get it to work. Not sure what scanner you have or what app you use but might be worth checking if it also supports WiFi.
