Boot mat tip
« on: March 04, 2023, 02:54:40 PM »
Hi all,

Did just receive and put a boot mat in the Jazz since I on my previous always like have one.
This one was quite cheap, £25'ish from China but this time not in rubber but some about 4mm thick foam'ish plastic with a smooth surface. Great fit too.

The thing is what I really liked, as a bonus was noticeable lower road noise since it's to me a noisy car with both engine (above 3k RPM), transmission, road and wind (above 70 km/h) noise.

Worth the £25!

A tailored fit  foam type  mat, with a raised lip at the edges, are great.

But if all you  want is a functional rubber mat  for protection I found a universal  rubber mat  like the following  is easy to cut to fit the Jazz (with backseat up)   and does a good job. I cant comment on noise reduction as I fitted it when the car was new   But it may have contributed to me being one of the Mk4 owners who is happy with its noise level.
About £9 including postage but I have seen them in "The Range" and other shops that sell a few car accessories, for about £7.

Hi,
When filling in your address it asks for your county, says choose from the list but there is no list
