Gearbox or clutch problem
« on: December 04, 2022, 07:50:55 PM »
Hi everyone,
I am here, because, my mechanic could not find anything wrong with my Jazz so I hope one of you had the same issue.

When I drive on my own the car drives perfectly. Only when I have more people in the car, 3+ people and starting in the first gear sometimes the gearbox will start shaking like on the video and the car will make noise as if the car was stalling. It will last for the duration of the journey only in first gear. Once I drive the next day it's ok again. When it's shaking I have trouble starting, and only giving around 5 k revs helps to start more smoothly and it only happens in the first gear under load.

I was thinking it's the clutch but my mechanic says it looks fine. Do you think it could be gearbox? When I bought my Jazz a year ago it had the gearbox regenerated and it always worked well.

I hope the video will be clear to someone who maybe had this problem before. Thank you.

Worn gearbox/engine mountings.
