Removing luggage(boot) bulb
« on: August 06, 2022, 12:43:50 PM »
Hi.
Were going to do a boot sale tomorrow to clear the sheds out..lol
Rather than run the risk of flattening the battery with the boot open for about 6 hours, ive removed the clear plastic cover inside the boot, and now have access to the bulb.
Is there a knack to removing this bulb ?
Ive tried to remove it but dont want it to break or damage anything.
Many thanks.

Just sorted it  ;D
Eyesight not so good these days so borrowed a magnifying glass from my neighbour.
I noticed that there is a grey push on clip which attaches from the loom to the main unit.
Pressed the top grey plastic lever down which released it from the whole light unit.
Refitting tomorrow should be a doddle.

Hi There,
You can also lock the locking mechanism on the boot hatch with a screwdriver, By pushing              mechanism to locking position. Acting as the solid bar that is bolted down, This will switch off the
boot light remember to squeeze open handle before closing boot hatch as it's in the locked position
