Hi just had my Jazz 2 days! Me and my young son love lying back and watching the sunset through the glass roof. I can understand it being problematic in summer, even if shade is pulled across. Wondered if anyone had any tips for reducing car temp in the summer, eg foil screen on top of usual screen. Or maybe it's not a problem?? Any other tips or warnings about the panoramic roof would be welcomed.

I loved that roof and it never gave us a problem. Just remember to close the blind if you are leaving the car in sun for a while. I really miss this on my current car.

Closed when parked in summer,
Open during winter, otherwise condensation starts on the inside glass, could cause trouble
Open or closed when driving, as you prefer

...As you wish. Never had any problems with condensation or anything in 11 years whether blind open or closed.
Obviously will be slightly cooler in the summer if blind is closed.

As others have commented never any issues with glass roof other than you can't open it like on MK1 Jazz. No need to be concerned, just enjoy your Jazz.

The only concern I have is that it appears that the maximum loading of roof bars is less when you have a panoramic roof against the standard roof. Did know what it was but cannot find it at the moment. :'(
Not had any problem with condensation so far.

Never had problems with heat in summer. It does attract condensation in deepest winter, though. Open it and wipe it down every few weeks when it's freezing at nights.
