Hello, glad to meet you on this forum of Honda Jazz and HR-V owners.
I am a first time Honda owner (previously I owned Citroen, Nissan, Toyota).
I bought the new Jazz after careful consideration: small car to be able to move around, bigger inside than the outside, no need for four wheels drive, no need for a lot of power (no hills in The Netherlands, maximum speed 100 km/h between 6am and 7 pm), reliable. And of course the magic seats.
It is indeed a very nice car. I have it since the end of last week, so I was not able to drive a lot (200 km), still in "breaking in" mode - no cruise control since I'm supposed to drive at various speeds, no harsh brakes - I'm not planing to do those even after the breaking in ends (1000 km), after all I want to regenerate power
This morning I was planning to hear the noise it does to warn pedestrians, when it drives electric. My wife was leaving with the car and I was waiting outside to hear the sound. But she forgot the coffee in the house, had to pick it up and then the petrol engine started. And of course, as she was leaving, the car didn't make the special noise. But, funny sensation, to see the car moving without hearing the petrol engine increasing its revs. Leaving or sitting still, same noise.
The only issue that I have is that I cannot connect it to My Honda+. But I'll open another topic for this issue.
