New tyres prices
« on: May 01, 2008, 11:25:19 AM »
Hello all,
I noticed in another section of the forum that someone said they would not put budget tyres on there Jazz - why not?
6 months ago I fitted 4 new tyres to mine (1.2DS) from National tyres (buy one get one free) at a total cost of £130 all in, a brand called Barum.
I have had no trouble at all from them, quiet, good grip and still look like new after 6000 miles.
I would recommend these to anyone.
PS the offer is still on at NT.

Probably just personal preference.

Myself...I make sure it matches what's on the rest of the car (if possible), again just preference.

Although the old man put budgets on his Volvo V70...didn't last so long...pays your money, etc.

The Volvo dealer was shocked to hear that my Dad got 14,000miles out of a set of front tyres on his 850 T5   :o

Me sticks to whatever is fitted to the car. Tyres are your point of contact with the road, don't erm...cut corners.  ;D
