battery current drain
« on: February 25, 2021, 12:26:30 PM »
my Jazz Hybrid 2015 battery keeps going flat. The parked residual current drain is greater than 350mA. I have checked the obvious such as interior lights not going out when parked. I would appreciate any suggestions how to track down the fault.

I had a 2012 EX auto.

This did the same thing.

Because it was intermittent it was difficult to diagnose.

Some say an aircon relay sticks closed.

I used to turn the aircon off about 2 miles from home.

It happened about 4 times a year.

In the end. I had to purchase an emergency starter kit.

Cost just over £60 .and it got me out of a jam several times.

350mA corresponds more or less to 4 or 5W, which is what a typical interior light might be. Have you checked the boot light? It's more than you'd expect from some rogue USB converter or similar.
Pulling fuses is a great way to isolate which circuit it's on, I'd second that suggestion.
