One of the first things I do when it comes to a new task, is check out Youtube and see if there is a video covering the question. There nearly always is!

Then, you've got the manual to have a look through. Really useful resource.

http://hondafitjazz.com/manual3/index.html

Sorts most things. Then there is the search facility on this forum. I've picked up loads of Jazz info from old threads.

HTH
 :D

BTW I've yet to replace the bulb, but from the video, it looks a piece of cake.

You can check the bulbs you need here: https://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/honda-jazz-hatchback-2013-13.html or in the manual linked.

I was under the impression that the Mk2's wing mirror repeater was a sealed LED unit.

yes the parts catalogue shows a sealed unit at £72.50 each

£72.50… expensive bulb! Not a purchase I’m looking forward to.

Yep. I had to replace one as it would have been an MOT failure otherwise. Then some "scoundrel" misjudged distances on a narrow humped bridge, was coming at a heck of a lick, slightly over the white line, clashed mirrors, broke the cowling and cracked the mirror, and didn't even slow down afterwards. That wasn't a cheap fix, either.

How flippin much? No way hose A. £72.50? That can't be for 1x bulb.

There are non Honda ones on Ebay for £50, and second hand door mirrors for £50.

OMG as they say. Right, thanks for bringing that to my attention. I had no idea my Jazz had gold plated precious bulbs. Going to fold my mirrors in every time without fail now for sure. £50 quid for a bulb? "I don't believe it!"

A customer of mine had a Discovery and by his own fault managed to break a door mirror fairly comprehensively on a post at the side of a narrow track. Yep, you guessed, it was an all-singing all-dancing version with all the electric gizmos you can imagine in the assembly.
Land Rover said certainly we can fit a replacement for you - £800 !!!!!!!!!!!!!   :o

Not sure what he ended up doing, it will have been expensive whichever way.

That’s the thing with these over complicated wing mirrors, very expensive when they get clattered. Just another money maker for car companies I guess. Don’t think the repeaters on the unit really add anything, nor the ability to fold them in by pressing a button…

Probably cost £20 to make,  but once you have the vehicle and need a replacement they have you over a barrel with your pants down........
Some people will only consider you an expert if they agree with your point of view or advice,  when you give them advice they don't like they consider you an idiot

And when the aluminium bolts to the steering rack corrode on you LandRover, and you need  new ones and fitting and £2,000!!!!! and JLR recall them in the US so FOC  and not in the UK, then you know the UK regulator - whomever they are - are overpaid and useless.

I thought I remembered reading this some time  ago , may be useful , from Civic forum , Gen 8 .
Look here https://www.civinfo.com/threads/repairing-side-mirror-indicator-leds.118595/#post-1855188
May be relevant for Jazz as well.
