I have notified my insurance company and they said they did not need to know about any change to LED lighting.

What ever you do to your car, notify your Insurers. If they don't want to know, as long as it is in writing, at least it can't come around and bite you in the b*m.

Hi,
If anyone does have any issues with their current insurer with any form of change or modification then please feel free to drop me a line.
Regards,
Dan.

I spoke with my MOT tester today and his view is that it all depends upon the headlamp pattern. If it meets waht they test, it will pass. I fht ebeam does not meet the required pattern and cut off, then it will fail.

Apparently there is an appetite to be easier on headlamps and maybe because that is the doom that will be discovered with diesel testing.

+1. Looks like a victory for common sense, exactly what I said in a previous post regarding beam pattern.
