Hi,
Should the wing mirror adjusting switches be illuminated? Because mine aren't. 2011 cvt,

No they aren't, but should be!

For me not so much the adjustment as the button that folds and unfolds.

Same on Mk1 and Mk3

Perhaps Honda have recognised an improvement need, the wing mirror adjustment controls are illuminated on the 2016 Ex.

Having said that, I was using a 66 plate SE courtesy car the other day and the controls on that were not illuminated. It seems strange that some are and some are not.

The mirror and window controls of my 66 plate EX are illuminated, Athough in daylight you may not see them.
Only the white symbols are highlighted, the surrounds are not.
