Shoud do. The heater knobs and sliders are all in the same place.

Does the later model operate better, or has the original stopped working?  The grey one looks better IMO

not a case of it working better, i just like the look of it as regards the basic one (mine)....

latest has a/c button at bottom right whereas mine is a blanking plug (but has a wiring block and wiring clipped into it)

i just wanted to know if anyone had upgraded their radio and if the connections are the same or not..

but thanks for your replies

You will find that the moulded connectors for the radio are the same.  This is one area (apart from tyres and the ECU socket) where there has been some industry standard.  My neighbour's son manages a car aircon/radio fitting place (he calls it a fitment centre) and said that since about 1999, the plug dimensions and wiring arrangement in all cars and car audio is the same, so if you take out a Sanyo system and put in a Harmon Kardon, its a matter of unplugging and re-plugging

Any comments about this picture I am attaching? It looks like it may be possible to put whatever audio unit you want if you can get the right surround trim??

Yes, as the pic above shows. Fit what you like then. DIN E + cubby hole, DIN W, whatever you like - not the cheapest fascia adaptor on the street though being a BIG piece of plastic.

But if you've got a cheap cheap (or freebie) factory unit, it does what it says on the tin.
