Highest mileage Jazz?

Following a similar thread on the oldest, low mileage Jazz, I am curious as to high mileage Jazzs. My hybrid Jazz has just clocked up 26500 miles and is 11 months old, so should get to 28000 miles in its first year.

I am certain that it will get to 100,000 miles no problem, but how much further? Has anyone taken a Jazz to 200,000 miles, in my case that would be around 7 years 

As long as the car stays reliable I will hold on to it, I am willing to change the hybrid batteries in the future, as long at the rest of it is going well, this could be a record-breaker !

Slightly off-topic, but there was an article in the Honda owner's magazine around 2004 where someone had clocked up at least 100k in an original-shape Insight since 2000 (i.e., four years). I remember reading Honda being very impressed.

Currently I`ve 103804 miles in the clock and on the 1st of September the car will be 10 years old.
Last year 27.03.2011 the clock was on 65907 miles.
Lately I`m driving less again ~14000 miles annually.

Our Jazz has 102,000 + miles on the clock as it was a Royal Bank of Scotland company car from 05 to 08.When we got it in April 08 the clock was showing between 65 and 70k.

Off 'Jazz' topic but interesting IMO. Sometimes, I wonder how long our cars'd last if looked after well and always driven sympathetically.

Who's heard of the almost 3,000,000 miles 1968 P1800 Volvo - amazing, eh?  I've read elsewhere the owner claims that Volvo have never given him any 'special support.' The guy bought the car new, I think, and just takes good care of it.

Not a Jazz but in the 1980's I had a Honda Ballade.  I sold it to a friend's wife and she has it still.  It has done
405 000km and never had anything done to the engine.  The only expensive repair were the lift-up headlamp covers

My 07 will hit 50k later this week. I purchased it brand new in July 2007.

I had an '04 Jazz s that we bought in June '07 on 63 686. I had it up to 171 000 miles when someone shunted me at the end of November.  i am heartbroken that it was written up and gutted that insurance companies no longer allow you to keep your car.  i didn't even get to kiss her goodbye  she served us well and would have lasted so much longer.  the clutch went at about 130 000 miles, and she got a major  service from Honda at about the same time.  since then she got her regular oil changes.  the egr valve was dodgy from about 90 000 miles and got slowly worse over time but it was manageable; it juddered a bit at a crawl and i planned to sort it out soon, but alas... Just bought an '03 se on 98 518.  I'll see how far i can get this one!

I am encouraged by some of these responses as I have just pushed my daughter into buying a 2006 Jazz with 63k on it. It was a bargain price because it had a couple of small bumps in it. My daughter has 2 young children (2yrs and 2 months) and the car seems ideal for her. I just so hope I have done the right thing in persuading her to get this, otherwise I could be in big trouble!

I've just registered as a new member having discovered this really interesting and informative website.

I am a driving instructor and purchased my Honda Jazz 1.2 in March 2010. Since then it has covered 88,420 Miles.

Apart from routine servicing carried out by main Honda dealer in Perth it has had, front brake pads replaced, a new battery (replaced under warranty), a new indicator stalk (replaced under warranty), renewed front and rear wipers, renewed tyres and various light bulbs.

There was also a noise from the clutch pedal which was investigated by the Honda dealer and a new pedal box/assembly was replaced under warranty.

I hope that my experience will give an insight as to higher miles ownership of a Honda Jazz and although it may be a 1 owner car it has had many drivers!

Our 2002 1.4 DSI has got over 111,000 miles on it and in the 4yrs we have had it (72k when purchased) it has had the following replaced....

1) 4 new tyres (4 part worns before that)
2) Rear brake pipes replaced (cheap fix at local garage)
3) Pollen filter, 8 NGK spark plugs and usual consumables at service points.
4) Front discs and pads
With MOT and and service costs... in total spread out over time... about £550/600 which in 4yrs is nothing for a car of this age.... We had the EGR Valve problem at about 85k, but i took it off and cleaned it and its been fine since.... it's never failed a MOT, had all the underside cleared of all rust and its now been waxoiled so should last many more years yet!! hoping to get a GE at some point like the one i have just sold for my ASX... its been a great buy for what we paid (2.5k with £500 knocked off the 3k asking price for a 97 corsa) the wife loves it...

My Jazz is currently at 107,000 with no fault to report! touch wood not even the dreaded EGR issue ever

saw one on ebay 198,672 miles. so 100,000 seems nothing to jazz lol
