honda recall info
« on: March 27, 2011, 01:04:42 PM »
Hi
I have just recieved the Honda Safety Recall letter info.
Its  regarding the potential concern with the headlight switch of Honda Jazz.
However, im not so sure if the headlight off my vehicle is defective or not. Does anyone do know how to check if such instrument in jazz is really defective and needs re placing. (Low beam headlight switch off honda jazz)
Cheers
Ric

Honda normally send two letters, the first one to alert you that there may be a problem and the second to ask you to make an appointment to get it fixed.

If you didn't receive a second letter telling you to make an appointment then they obviously realised after checking records that your particular car is not affected.
Some people will only consider you an expert if they agree with your point of view or advice,  when you give them advice they don't like they consider you an idiot

The best way is to go onto the Honda website and enter your car's VIN number to see whether or not its affected by any recall.
