CV joint / grinding sound.

 :( Car has been running well, 33k miles.

When reversing out of the drive, turning as I go back, there is a clonking./ grinding sound when nearly full lock. I'm assuming this could be a half shaft CV voint?

Is this a problem on some cars plaese !!
