I wonder what they've done to introduce this engine rattle?

Fortunately mine is OK.
Let's be careful out there !

At a guess a leaner burn to prevent further issues with EGR valve. Also ticking noise is suspected to be from the oil pump in the eCVT.

I asked this before. I am getting new Jazz next week.

NoelM, whereabouts in the country was this and what colour were the Jazz?. Who was the dealer?.

I haven't used mine for almost 3 weeks so even though I charged the 12v battery last week I powered up in the garage, yesterday.

Engine came on for about 2 minutes before cutting out, heater off, HV showing 10 bars !

Engine sounded OK and in the garage it's a soundbox.
Let's be careful out there !

The Crosstar was 72 plate colour Grey. In the Midlands, Staffordshire. Dealer was really good about it all with excellent service throughout.  Mind you I have been using them since 1994. Lost count of how many Honda cars I have had from them.

I am getting my Jazz in East Sussex. Same colour Midnight Blue again which is by far the classiest. Very happy with deal.

Heard red now has three coats of paint. An extra £200 to improve colour?.

Red seems to be a colour that fades over time. I guess Honda are trying to protect it.

Good in a way to know it's not just me! I guess your one does it at idle and only certain conditions i.e. sometimes it sounds rattly. At other times really rattly. Under load it's fine and I give my Jazz oil changes every 6K, so it's well looked after...

Also told the other day. A bit off topic but there is a £1200 price increase due across the range at the end of the month

Is it here about a red rattle or a rattling red?

I recently asked a question about a slightly noisy first start tick-over on my MY22 Jazz. I'm now wondering if you've explained it.
Mine too.

My Crosstar (November 2021, model year '22) has its first service today. There was a software update available, which took 2.5 hours to install. It included navigation, safety features and much more; the dealer said it included pretty much everything.
I noticed a bit different charging behaviour on the motorway and some icons on the screen changed positions. But I don't know whether it also was remapped. I'm going to keep an eye (and ear) out the coming period.
