There used to be arguments about privacy laws and recording in public, but since Honda now include an expensive option themselves I can't see that being a problem anymore.
Using a dashcam is still illegal in Austria ,Luxemburg and Portugal, with heavy fines. In Germany(and possibly one or two others) they are not illegal as such, but discouraged and the law courts will not accept dashcam video as evidence of guilt or innocence ,even if it clearly shows who committed a major crime. So even if, like me,you are equipped to replay the video on a big screen to police at the scene of a crash , its by no means certain they would be willing to even view it when deciding to prosecute you. (and in countries where dashcams are illegal you would be incriminating yourself by even mentioning you were using a dashcam)
So if its built in by Honda its best to know how to turn it off when necessary. I like to use a small discrete dashcam without a screen that is not hard wired, which in some circumstances i might not go out of my way to mention to anyone
Insurance companies prefer you are cautious about what you say and admit at the scene. You might actually be less to blame than you think at the time.
