Scratches
« on: June 15, 2022, 09:19:53 AM »
Hi,
I have LifeTime protection by Autoglym. Are these scratches to the paintwork or just on the protection?. Don’t feel rough. Lots of narrow overgrown lanes around East Sussex so maybe rubbed bushes. Just noticed them after a good wash. How to touch up?. I have Honda touch up pencil with basecoat and clearcoat.

Can you feel the scratch with your nail?
If not then should polish out.

I would doubt it is marring of the protective coat \ sealant, I would think it is too thin.
Hopefully just the blackberry stem itself smeared on the paint.
I would think polish, tar remover, or tcut , maybe even cash wash and microfiber cloth would remove them.
And hopefully the ag sealant will allow you to remove that without scratching the paint
