Improving radio reception
« on: May 19, 2022, 11:23:05 PM »
We received our new Jazz SE earlier this week, and so far so good...except for the radio reception.

I had some luck in tuning in some FM, MW and LW stations, but haven't been so fortunate with DAB ones (my total so far is only about 3 or 4).

The DAB radio in our previous car managed to pick up loads of stations easily enough in and around the area we live in, so I'm imagining that coverage isn't much of a problem - any thoughts or suggestions?

The thing to watch with DAB is the Ensemble feature. It moves DAB stations into groups by area. It may have tuned more stations but ended up on an out of area group.

I'm posting Ensemble from memory, I'll check more closely later if needed.

Thank you for your reply! :)

I think I have managed to solve the problem - it was me being too impatient when scanning for stations (instead of giving the radio a chance to store the stations as it found them) :-[

Anyhow, thanks again! :D
