Android Auto controls
« on: April 17, 2022, 05:33:34 AM »
One thing that I find awkward is having the Android Auto Google mapping on the left with the settings and info on the right.

After looking it up I found lots of similar complaints. Apparently it was a Google big brother change between RHD and LHD cars.

Fortunately you can now change it to have the mapping closer to you and the controls on the left......

In the phone Android Auto settings, under the weather toggle, is a RHD/LHD setting that defaults to getting the info from the car. In there is a forced left or right.

Set mine to left side drivers seat for my next journey in a few hours.
Let's be careful out there !

Just got back off my first journey and, yes, works a treat.
